Profile

Performs his concerts with the accent on a happy fun experience with loads of singalong songs.
Has performed for over 20 years at corporate events, festivals, theatres, folk clubs, and almost every type of venue possible. A lead vocalist with highly successful Bands.
He has also maintained his solo career.
his concerts all have a fun happy theme to them aided by the fact he uses wireless packs for his voice and instruments. This enables him to wander around the stage and to come off the stage into the audience. At corporate events, he will often be booked as a wandering minstrel, with or without PA.
He sings, Scottish, Irish, and Celtic songs and his own songs too. If the event requires it, he can add songs from other genres into his sets such as country, the '60s, 70's and easy sing-a-along songs.
On his travels, He has performed around the UK, USA, Russia, Israel, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, and Belgium.
Over the years his powerful voice has endeared him to many audiences and he has always been rebooked by every venue or agency he has performed for.
He is willing to travel worldwide and quotes for bookings are available free and without obligation.
One of the big attractions to the audience is his singing voice, humour and the fact he roams around the stage and among the audience while performing. This involves the audience in the party atmosphere he creates.

The last couple of years we had the pleasure of having this Scottish musician on stage. He is a great performer. With him in the house, you're sure of having an entertaining afternoon or evening. And the music he's playing is diverse. Scottish and Irish folk, but also songs made by himself. We knew him already from concertshe played in our folkclub. But his solo concerts are also from high quality. So whenever you have the chanceto get him on stage in your folkclub, bar or festival.....?! Book this guy!
KLASS VIS

Our association organizes, among other things, traditional concerts, especially regional music of Low German culture. Scottish and Celtic music corresponds to this program much. He gave us with his music insights and impressions into the everyday life of Scottish life. In his ballads, he sang about love, wanderlust, the landscape and the sea. He entertained the audience wonderfully, walked through the rows of spectators and encouraged everyone to sing along. The audience felt transported to the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland and had this beautiful landscape in mind. We thank him for this great concert and we look forward to seeing him again in autumn 2020.
RICHARD ECKHOFF

Always good fun to see him on stage. A good singer and the audience is always engaged and involved. A good variety of songs also.
MENNO SCHILSTRA

A very special experience for us, was when a Sunday in June, for the first time we held a house concert and what a wonderful day it became. We had borrowed a tent and scraped the neighbours and own garden chairs together, and had invites family, friends, neighbours and others, at a concert in the garden. Not everyone knew about him already, but we have received incredibly many happy and positive feedbacks. Everyone was excited about the music and the amazing atmosphere that he created. It was a huge experience, and it didn't require much. he is highly recommended if someone has a party in mind, and I certainly don't think it's the last time we do it and the guests are ready, I have no doubt about that.

Imagine a long-haired fiery Scot in a kilt with both muscats blazing... ... Now imagine the same image with a guitar & a microphone blazing a path of frenzied fun, music & singing that never fails to give everything every time. Your crowd will lap it up & clap it up. Atrue troubadour in his own right!
PETER ALLEN
